About us

Reducing the Risk is an Oxfordshire-based charity committed to strengthening our community’s capacity to reduce the risk of domestic abuse and ensure the safety and wellbeing of victims and survivors. We provide safe, confidential support for as long as needed for everyone in Oxfordshire at high risk through abuse, and work with other services to identify emerging needs and develop responsive new programmes.

Reducing the Risk coordinates and supports Networks of front-line staff from a wide range of agencies and services in order to develop a strong local multi-agency approach to domestic abuse. We act as a resource hub for practitioners and volunteers. Our Champion Hub is designed to link Domestic Abuse Champions on one simple platform allowing for easier access to resources, support, collaboration and tools, to better help those affected by domestic abuse.
